White Christmas

It was an almost white Christmas for me. My Colorado skiing/snowboarding trip fell through, so lucky me, “I’ll be home for Christmas”...which was probably meant to be, since I got booked on a job, surprisingly right after Christmas! That never happens. And you just simply can’t turn down work. Sometimes plans change and you just have to make do or perhaps make new plans, even if it’s last minute. Spontaneity can be a good thing! This year ain’t over yet until the fat lady sings... so perhaps a roadtrip?

I went to the Mason sample sale last month and bought a wide array of beautiful dresses. Nothing beats fine quality pieces at a fraction of the full retail price. There were so many great choices! Gotta love a good deal right? Sample sales are the best!!! And since I’m wearing this white dress for Christmas, I guess I can call it a White Christmas. :)

Have yourself a Merry Christmas! If I don’t post in time for the new year....well a Happy New Year too! xx jt

All Saintly

AllSaints parka jacket | Guess by Marciano leather pants | Guess by Marciano platform bootie (similar here and here) | Marc Jacobs bag (similar here) | Michael Kors watch | Essie nail polish in Ballet Slippers | Photos by: Tina Clara

It’s getting close to the holidays and I’m feeling all saintly (pun intended!) in this AllSaints parka jacket. Saintly especially when you put the hoodie up...it gives such a holy incognito and mysterious vibe. And I love it.

It rained recently in LA, got a tad bit cold but certainly not cold enough to wear heavy winter coats, so it’s the perfect opportunity to wear this jacket. Great combination of looking hip, edgy and feeling comfortable all at the same time. Did I mention the versatility aspect?! You zip and button up to give a more edgy vibe or leave it open for a casual look. I am simply obsessed. Seriously best purchase ever. If this AllSaints jacket is out of your budget, there is a similar and more affordable version from Urban Outfitters here. Either way, get yours today! xx jt

Starry Night

ANGL denim with leather sleeve jacket (similar here) | H&M black shirt | Forever 21 plaid button down shirt (similar here) | Forever 21 denim shorts | Stuart Weitzman lowland boots | Zara beanie (similar here) | J.Crew star cluster necklace | Vita Fede bracelet | Rings: J.Crew star, vtblt, Ariella collection | Photos by: Tina Clara

It was a starry starry night for this dog of mine,
Lucki be her name and oh how doth she shine...

Ok so it wasn’t really a starry night but the wall saids otherwise:)

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful...but if you really think about it, there is always something to be thankful for…every day. I’m thankful for many people and things in my life, but thankful for my dear furry munchkin. She never fails to put a smile on my face. I seriously think dogs invented unconditional love. It’s true the saying where the owner and the dog start sharing personality traits. We sometimes even look alike! She is an extension of me and I love her dearly. She continues to give me joy every day, and it’s hard to believe she is 12 years next month (84 human years??!!) a senior dog at that! Life is short and I try to spend as much quality time with her as possible. Who am I to say her name is Lucki when I’m really the lucky one to have her in my life.

Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he/she owned a dog. Do you have a pet? If so, do you feel the same way? xx jt
