Nothing beats the simplicity in what nature has to offer. The earth laughs in flowers!

Have you ever had the fantasy of running through a flower field in a pretty dress? I think most girls at some point in their lives do. It’s the age of innocence. Girls adorned with little flowers in their long hair, long flowy dresses and aimlessly wandering about in a field of flowers. I find it magical, ethereal, and almost haunting. I’ve always wanted to be that. Well I did just that. Albeit everything shortened LOL. My hair is short, dress is short, and certainly no flowers in my hair, but it didn’t matter because you can’t help but feel wild and carefree when you’re surrounded by this endless sea of vibrant colors. It truly is magical! I’m fortunate enough to make it in on the last day of the flower viewing before it’s closed for the season. If you’ve never been to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, you should go. Next season that is. But in the meantime take a little time to see what’s already around you because natural beauty is everywhere.

May flowers bloom in all corners of your world. xx

For the Love of Audrey

Chloe K crop top, Topshop skirt (similar here and here), Guess by Marciano heels, Celine box bag (similar here), Celine sunglasses (more affordable version here), Chanel earrings, Bracelets: Vitafede | Coordinates Collection, Swarovski ring, Photos by: Tina Clara

“I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls."

Today would have been Audrey Hepburn’s 85th birthday. In honor of this well-loved and adored fashion style icon, I pay a little homage by channeling her classic and timeless style. In this case....a hair bun, clean lines, red lips, and a girly skirt.

I absolutely adore this skirt by Topshop. I love how it poofs out and when worn, it sure makes one feel like a princess! Not to say the least, it’s white. Not something I would wear on the norm. Yeah, go ahead and try keeping this clean. Well, one can’t live forever under a rock, worrying about getting something dirty. Get over it. Take a risk! The black and white crop top (croptop??? suck that gut in lol!) has a lovely flower lace detail in the back. It’s delicate, cute and oh, soooo on sale! The bold stripes are not too thin nor too thick, and contrasts nicely with the white skirt. I kept everything black and white, except for the red lips and the pop of the yellow bag to give the look a little more life. I certainly had a little too much fun getting dressed for this day..because after all, as Audrey's saying goes...happy girls are the prettiest girls. And this makes me happy! :) xx

Spring into Lace

Zadig & Voltaire top (more affordable version here and here, Forever 21 shorts, Mossimo platform wedge (similar here and here), Celine box bag (similar here), Bellomina necklace, Coordinates Collection bracelet, Shashi bracelets, Ariella rings, Photos by: Tina Clara

Spring is the perfect time to start wearing white and why not start with this gorgeous lace top by Zadig & Voltaire. It’s ooooh so pretty! It’s very feminine, romantic & has a light airy feel...definitely great for ventilation if I may add...and it’s literally see-through. I wore a nude lace bandeau underneath so that you can still see the white lace details of the top. I would wear this piece with a pair of distressed denim jeans for a little contrast, but it was a hot day, so I’ve decided to pair it with denim shorts instead. I’m a huge lover of short shorts and skirts. Nothing wrong with showing some legs...and lots of it too! Why not? If you got it, flaunt it! ...well just as long as your butt cheeks are not hanging out, that is. :) xx

Golden Hour

Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent dress, Beulah jacket, Report sandals, Marc Jacobs bag, Oliver Peoples aviator sunglasses, Photos by: Tina Clara

There’s a special time of day, when the sunlight is the most beautiful. The moment in which the sun gives a golden halo. It’s the hour before the sunset and in photography it’s called the golden hour. This golden hour is the perfect time to capture magic in photos. If you follow my instagram, you may notice that I have a tendency to capture sunset shots. I love going to the beach to watch the sunset and while I’m at it...why not take photos for your viewing pleasure.

I have no idea what my dress color is. So for lack of a better word, let's just call it the “golden hour” dress. I love this dress because it’s made out of silk and feels comfortably soft on the skin. When I can’t decide what to wear or simply feeling bleh, I put on a dress and problem solved. Either short or long, preferably not form fitting, but loose and comfortable. It hides everything! So you can even eat at a buffet without a worry LOL! And ofcourse, always have a cute jacket on hand in case it gets a little nippy (no pun intended). Yikes. Cheers to a great coverage! Ha. xx
